The Greatest Threat

It's not the Mooslims

There’s always a Looming Danger, an Ominous Threat lurking somewhere – that’s the War Party’s bread-and-butter. Back in the day, it was the Germans, who were going to cross the Atlantic and meet their Japanese allies somewhere near the Mississippi. Then it was the Commies, who were not only in the process of swallowing Asia but supposedly had their Fifth Column right here in the US, ready willing and able to take the Capitol at a signal from the Kremlin. After that there was some hesitation in deciding just who or what would take the place of the Red Threat, but that was decided on September 11, 2001, when Osama bin Laden’s Global Caliphate emerged as the Bogeyman of the moment. It turned into quite a long moment, as we have seen, one that still lingers to this day, even after bin Laden’s death and the crushing of al-Qaeda: Americans, being sentimentalists, hang on to their villains long after their shelf life has expired.

Jesse Ventura exposes the government's island of horror

Situated only a stone's throw from the major urban centers of New York City and Boston, Jesse Ventura and his Conspiracy Theory team make the hazardous journey to Plum Island, location of the US government's super-secret bio-warfare lab. In the process, they acquire evidence of an even more lethal conspiracy – there are hundreds of germ labs in a ring of fire engulfing the entire nation. Ventura learns that these creations of the military-academic-industrial complex are timebombs that could kill us all. (44:17)

A Few Words About Abortion. by Andrew P. Napolitano

Last week marked the 39th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, the U.S. Supreme Court decision that permitted abortions. Prior to that case, abortion was regulated by each state, and most of them prohibited it unless two physicians could certify that the baby growing in the mother's womb would likely result in the death of the mother. Even the states that permitted abortions when the pregnancy was caused by rape or incest, an extremely rare occurrence, did not permit it after the sixth month of pregnancy.

The Real Dirt on Slick Rick Santorum

The most comprehensive review of Santorum's big-government hypocrisy and corruption on the web.

by Jake Morphonios

Texas Congressman Ron Paul has just released a hard-hitting ad against former Senator Rick Santorum.  The ad, entitled “Betrayal”, exposes Santorum’s record of hypocrisy, duplicity and corruption.  But is the ad fair?
Rick Santorum did well in Iowa and may do well in South Carolina because he is perceived to be deeply committed to family and social values.  He is an outspoken opponent of gay marriage and abortion.  He wears his religious beliefs on his sleeves.

Glen Beck going ROGUE

Christian? Conservitive? Independent? No I don't think so, Glen Beck's bought and paid for!

by Mark Vogl

Governor Mitt Romney, moderate from Massachusetts, father of Romney Care, wealthy, Mormon, and blue blood took a pretty good stomping in South Carolina. Why?
Well, one reason appears to be he would not reveal his tax returns. By his own admission Mr. Wealth admitted that he was paying about 15%as his federal income tax rates! What's that mean? It means he is so wealthy he lives off his long term investments. Now this is the politician who creates a state health care program in Massachusetts, and wants the tax payers of the state to pay for it. Romney's plan was the proto type for Obama Care! Socialism, whether at the federal level, or at the state level is still socialism and anti-American!

Republican Delusions and Ron Paul

Liberty cannot be means tested.

by Van Bryant, II

Republicans lie to themselves when they state that the economy is their greatest worry this election cycle.  Ron Paul, "Dr. Austerity" himself, would be polling at the top were this the case.
It's actually quite remarkable when you consider that the United States is $15 trillion in debt, yet the most dedicated and recognized budget hawk is a persona non grata for a considerable number of right-wing voters.  Isn't this is supposed to be a primary for the "free-market" party? Aren't conservative pundits always talking about "getting government out of the way?"

Newt Gingrich: Too Corrupt for the Presidency

Newt Gingrich's passion for ideas has corrupted his soul. He will bend any rule, broker any deal, and defy any kingpin to move his agenda.

by Paul Benedict

The man has been marred beyond recognition. The shape of his past allegiances and committed advocacies have become shredded beyond recognition. His media specter is no longer even plainly human, but the man slogs on. Instead, of the historic Newt we see a ruined man heaving his weight across the air waves,  a politician in a broken form that embodies America’s worst fears. But beyond the slicing rips of misrepresentation, the skeletal error of his ways still peaks through—the man just thinks too much. Even worse, he thinks ideas are more important than politics. He’s an idealist damn him. That is unacceptable in American government today.

Ron Paul Trounces Santorum on Foreign Policy in CNN Debate

Congressman Ron Paul roundly defeated Rick Santorum in a debate on free trade, entangling alliances and unconstitutional foreign policy.
by Jake Morphonios

On Thursday night, the four remaining GOP presidential candidates squared off in Jacksonville in the second of two Florida debates, hosted by CNN and moderated by Wolf Blitzer.  While much of the debate time was again wasted on callow rhetoric between neo-con candidates Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich, Congressman Ron Paul indoctrinated the audience with principled lessons on liberty and the proper role of government.

ACTA: Worse Than SOPA and PIPA - by Stephen Lendman
Internet freedom's on the line. SOPA and PIPA threatened Net Neutrality and free expression. So does ACTA. More on it below.
For now, the largest online protest in Internet history got Congress to abandon SOPA and PIPA for now but not permanently. Expect resurrection in modified form. Language may change but not intent. ACTA's worse.

KID AZTECA VS. KID FULLMOON

Paul pursued strategy of publishing controversial newsletters, associates say

Ron Paul, well known as a physician, congressman and libertarian , has also been a businessman who pursued a marketing strategy that included publishing provocative, racially charged newsletters to make money and spread his ideas, said three people with direct knowledge of Paul’s businesses.
The Republican presidential candidate has denied writing inflammatory passages in the pamphlets from the 1990s and said recently that he did not read them at the time or for years afterward. Numerous colleagues said he does not hold racist views.

Forecasting Economic Decline
by Stephen Lendman
Economic analyst Harry Dent's 2009 book, titled "The Great Depression Ahead" became a national bestseller. He predicted the current crisis and worse ahead.
His new book, co-authored with Rodney Johnson, predicts "The Great Crash Ahead." He calls it inevitable and sees protracted trouble worse than 2008. It's coming between 2012 and 2014 he believes.
