Romney acusó a Obama de repetir “inexactitudes” cuando se refería al proyecto fiscal republicano, y el mandatario dijo que su rival había “dado marcha atrás” en su propuesta.
“Romney es deshonesto también en este punto”, agrega la voz en off del anuncio difundido este sábado al referirse a una publicidad republicana en la que se cita “un estudio llevado a cabo por un grupo independiente” sobre la política fiscal del gobierno demócrata.
“El presidente de este autodenominado grupo independiente proviene de la antigua empresa de Mitt Romney, y (el exvicepresidente del republicano George W. Bush) Dick Cheney integra su consejo de administración y (el excandidato a la investidura republicana) Newt Gingrich también es integrante de esa estructura”, denuncia la voz.
“No es (un estudio) independiente, no es verdad”, concluye el anuncio de la campaña demócrata.
También el equipo de Romney presentó este sábado una nueva publicidad, insistiendo en el balance económico de Obama.
En esa propaganda, una ciudadana estadounidense, Melanie McNamara, explica haber votado en 2008 por Obama pero que este año, “decepcionada”, tiene intención de apoyar a Romney.
Desde el debate del miércoles, en el que tuvo un mal desempeño, Obama multiplicó los ataques contra Romney, ironizando sobre lo que califica de “lavado de cara radical” del republicano, que pretendería recentrar su discurso.
El viernes, el presidente tuvo una buena noticia con la publicación de los últimos datos sobre desempleo, referidos a septiembre, que sitúan esa variable en su nivel más bajo desde el comienzo del mandato demócrata, en enero de 2009
